Opening Credit Analysis

    Opening credits are a very interesting and important part of films, because it lists components such as the title of the film, the production company, and other influential members of the production, some examples being the lead cast, supporting cast, casting director, costume designer, and more. The opening credits are a significant part of a film, as it introduces the film to the audience for the first time. A good opening credit scene contains an interesting appearance, mainly one that relates to the film and what it's about. Opening credits are also made to contribute to the overall mood/feeling of the film, connecting with the emotions of the audience. I personally love watching good opening credits, as the combination of the music used visuals used is very interesting to me. Mise en Scene in Film- The Walking Dead

     We have been assigned to watch one movie or TV series that will give us inspiration for our final project, and watch it, looking for different elements of mise en scene within the episode/movie. Some of these elements include setting, lighting, costume, and staging, and those are what I will be focusing on today. I decided to do this assignment on the first episode of The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead is a television show that follow a zombie apocalypse and the group of survivors, focusing on their actions, interactions, and more.
