Storyboard on Venom: Let There Be Carnage
In class, we learned about the art of storyboarding and how important it is in the world of film. Storyboarding helps directors and others that are working on films to practically "watch the film" themselves before hiring actors or creating sets etc. Storyboarding is the art of drawing out and planning every single detail about a film, dividing and explaining each scene separately so that it can be fully understood. Everything from characters and props, to camera angles, even to lighting, should be considered. Some of the major challenges when it comes to storyboarding is making sure that every part of a storyboard can be understood not only by you, but anyone else that looks at it as well. Also, there is a lot that should be included to make a complete and amazing storyboard.
I did my storyboard on a scene from Venom: Let There Be Carnage, specifically one of the interactions with Venom and Mrs. Chen.
